International accreditation for Master programmes | University Luxembourg | Europe | Luxembourg (Europe) | Scoop.it
Five Master programmes at the University of Luxembourg’s Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance have been accredited by the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), an international expert for quality assurance and development in higher education and research.

The FIBAA accreditation is the first study programmes certification at the University of Luxembourg and represents an important step in receiving international recognition for the University’s programmes and a seal of approval for high-quality teaching.

Following the visit of an external panel of international experts, FIBAA accredited at the end of 2015 and for a period of five years:

the Master in Economics and Finance;
the Master of Science in Banking and Finance;
the Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation;
the Master in Wealth Management;
the Master in Accounting and Audit.

Le Conseil de gouvernement a donné son feu vert pour le projet de loi sur la réorganisation de l'enseignement supérieur, qui prévoit entre autres l'organisation de "classes prépa" au Luxembourg.

 

Le cycle d’études s’étend sur deux années et est équivalent à 120 crédits ECTS. Il s’agit ainsi de faire de cette formation également une formation permettant aux étudiants, n’ayant pas réussi à se classer en rang utile à l’examen concours donnant accès à une grande école, la possibilité de s’orienter vers d’autres filières universitaires.

 

Sont admissibles au cycle d’études, les détenteurs d’un diplôme de fin d’études secondaires ou secondaires techniques. L’admission est sujette à la présentation d’un dossier personnel et d’un entretien auprès d’une commission ad hoc nommée à cet effet par le ministre sur proposition du directeur du lycée et composée de ce dernier comme président et de trois membres.
