Little guy enjoys big night in Laurel

Little guy enjoys big night in Laurel | Lockwood Schools Superintendent | Scoop.it
LAUREL — In the basketball program for Senior Night, Laurel’s Seth Kraft is listed as 4 feet, 1½ inches tall.
Tobin Novasio's insight:

Seth is a former student of mine in another District.  My first year there made the decision to go to a "no cut" philosophy in Middle School sports.  We actually had parents show up at a Board Meeting to express concerns that we were taking away from the experience for students that "had a future in basketball".  Looks like Seth had a brighter basketball future than all of them.  It is important that everyone gets a chance to participate; there is no telling what potential they have inside them.  No one should kill a kids dream before they can flesh it out.  What a great kid!
