The western governments have probably spent three trillion dollars in Aid to Africa but that AID has caused more damage than good. Sirolli's advice is simple: if you wish to help, first listen to them and identify their needs before talking about your own theories how they should live or what they should eat.
In India, that's exactly what I have observed. And decades of aid has shown absolutely no result.
