This is probably true but having people accept the outcomes is also an important consideration in order to help inoculate society from anarchy. Thanks Jim. Not sure if I agree with the premise of the research myself. It is an interesting read however. I'm a firm believer in the arduous, ugly, awkwardness that is democracy. We're smarter enough. I just hope we don't try to outsmart democracy with well intentioned, admittedly efficient, autocracy. BP
