One of man's biggest health challenge is the effects of STRESS.  It has been a leading contributor to heart failure, cancer, illness, depression, and numerous other diseases.  


Having worked with experts in the field of neuro and bio feedback I have learned that relieving our lives of the impacts of stress can be as simple as spending time daily bringing attention and awareness to your breath, listening to binaural beats, writing in a gratitude journal, and focusing on collaboration, contribution and self-forgiveness.

I spend time doing the 100 DAY Challenge.

I do 100 pushups, 100 squats and 100 crunches for 100 DAYS!!!

It is definitely hard the first week but it gets easier and easier and before you know it, you  have a shelf of a butt and so much endurance.  I did this before my Olympic Distance triathlon and had so much stamina I could have done it twice!!

 

ADDING PLANKS IS A GREAT WAY TO ENHANCE THE 100 DAY CHALLENGE!!

 

I am always looking for amazing people who are eager to get after their goals and just need the community support and reminder that they are capable of achieving beyond what they have done before.

It's so important to pay attention to the little things we do each day. There are so many people who go to work for 8 hours and sit all day at their desks with little movement- I used to be one of them! Taking mini-breaks to stand and walk around will get the blood pumping and revitalize your mind and body.  A standing desk is also a great idea!

The Aeon Flux actress went on a high protein, lower carbohydrate diet to look lean and mean in the skin-tight suit that she had to wear in the movie.

 

Her foods included fruits and vegetables and what’s interesting is that she is a semi-vegetarian, which means that she occasionally eats chicken. Because of the limited meats, her protein came from nuts, seeds and dairy food sources.

 

Her nutritionist, Jackie Keller reported that she consumed six meals a day spread out every few hours.

Prosperity is a commonly misunderstood topic because of the conditioned limiting beliefs that our role models and communities typically teach us.

 

I have found that there are several valuable tools that really help people generate prosperity in their lives with simple mindset shifts.

 

Here are three tools:

1. meditation - Oprah and Deepak have an incredible 21 day meditaion platform for a global audience at any level of a meditation proactice whether just jumping in or a seasoned veteran.

 

2. mantras - writing mantras or quotes that move or inspire you and reading them aloud daily and posting them in places where you will see them often is a wonderful way to shift and develop mindset.

 

3. contribution - when we are a contribution to people, organizations, family, friends, and our community we begin to experience a heart connection to our surroundings which often stimulates happiness, joy and compassion. From this place we become more energetically attractive in nature and prosperity flows to us.  Random acts of kindness are an incredible way to practice being a contribution and shifting your mindset.

As a triathlete, I needed a way to recover quickly after my rigorous training schedule. When I got started on the 24 sports nutrition line of Herbalife PRODUCTS, MY MIND WAS BLOWN. 

 

I started with PREPARE (The Herbalife 24 sports nutrition containing Creatine for pre-workout) and biked 24 miles in the morning before taking my kids to school. Working with teams of executives I have witnessed that to support a massive vision it is critical to implement actions which are "simple, stupid".  The vision and actions have to be accessible by all no matter where they are in their professional and life experience. Using the intersection of information and graphical representation, multiple senses get activated causing the brain to be "lit up" through multiple pathways. This results in greater sensory stimulation leading to greater comprehension and higher retention.

 

We live in an age of immense stimulation so the more channels we activate, the greater the impact we have.

See it, hear it, read it, touch it = more "I got it".

 

The more tastes you give of the message you are sending through the different senses, the more the memory captures the info in reproducible bits and causes accessibility and actionabiilty.
