State Dept has no comment on Sept. 12 CIA report that militants attack consulate

State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said she could not comment on a Washington Post report Friday that the CIA station chief in Libya reported to the administration that there was evidence militants attacked the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, during a Friday press briefing. Nuland also said it was "fair" that the department comments on intelligence information when it suits them, after a reporter challenged her on her no comment.

Fox:New documents on Libya reveal that Amb Stevens had requested additional security several times&but, they were denied security several times;one was written/received on day he died!!

Amb Stevens warned of the continued violence&Islamic extremism was on the rise;had seen the black Al Qaueda flag and more Islamist violence in Eastern Libya

CIA found evidence of militant links a day after U.S. Consulate attack that killed Libyan ambassador
The CIA knew within 24 hours that there was evidence the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was carried out by militants, not a mob upset over an anti-Islam video

It is unclear who, if anyone, saw the cable outside the CIA at that point and how high up in the agency the information went. The Obama administration maintained publicly for a week that the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans was a result of the mobs that staged less-deadly protests across the Muslim world around the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on the U.S.

The day of attack Amb Stevens sent three page cable labeled 'sensitive' noting growing problems with security and growing frustration with Libyan police and security forces. Forces Stevens said were 'too weak to keep the country secure'

Republican Mitt Romney said Tuesday he would likely donate his salary to charity if elected president, a financial freedom he described as a byproduct of a successful business career.
"I never anticipated that I'd be as financially successful as I was, and then my business went far better than I expected it would," Romney told a woman at a Liberty Mutual office in Dover, N.H., when she asked if millionaire candidates could resolve government problems in Washington.

Now this is another reason I have come to respect, admire and like Romney. He is a genuine, charitable and honerable man. A great father, husband and grandfather, someone his children and family can be proud of. Unlike Obama, Romney has worked hard his whole life and grew his prosperity through his own business. Obama has lived off the taxpayers most of his life, especially during his adult life.

Funny Video:Romney & Obama at The Alfred E. Smith Dinner 2012 (Full Video)

Complete video of Romney's and Obama's speeches at the Alfred e. Smith Dinner. Hysterical!

I loved the zingers Romney had on Obama. He really went after him...they were tasteful jokes, but honest. But he also joked about Biden, the media and others. Obama actually went after several people and joked about Biden, to Clint Eastwood and Chris Matthews.

Obama's employment joke was kind of lame&the Honey Boo Boo mention, but some of the others were pretty good. I didn't get what he was implying by he wishes he could use his middle name, like Mitt??

But overall, it was a humourous moment to lighten up things after the tense campaign and debate moments.

One of the best Obama jokes was when he said:

He is glad he was more awake in 2nd debate after long nap in 1st debate.

One of Romney's best jokes was when he said:

I was hoping the President would bring Joe Biden along, because he'll laugh at anything LOL

OH yeah, the other good one was when he said in the spirit of Sesame Street, the Presidents remarks tonight are brought to you by the letter O and the number $16 Trillion

Romney also had some good zingers on the press, referring to the media bias against him during the campaign with headlines like "Catholics embrace Obama", "Romney dines with rich people"...LOL

Obama campaign co-chair Eva Longoria deletes retweet calling women and minorities ‘stupid’ for supporting Romney

Obama campaign co-chair Eva Longoria deletes retweet calling women and minorities ‘stupid’ for supporting Romney | Littlebytesnews Current Events | Scoop.it

This morning on Fox with Megyn Kelly, liberal Allan Colmes says @EvaLongoria should resign from Obama campaign after her vulgar RT;which she denies RTing

She denies RTing a vulgar tweet captured here by Twitchy which said:

@evalongoria I have no idea why any woman/minority can vote for Romney. You have to be stupid to vote for such a racist/misogynistic twat—
Юрий Плескун (@imnotyuri) October 17, 2012

Since then Eva Langoria deleted it from her account after being called out for it by both conservative women, but progressive Latina women. A progressive Latina women's group is asking her to apologize for the vile tweet.

As Twitchy reports, this isn't the first time she has deleted a vulgar retweet. Last week she RT'd  actress Nancy Lee Grahn’s prison-rape assessment of the vice presidential debate, but that offensive retweet quietly disappeared too.

That tweet said:

RT @NancyLeeGrahn: Biden is making Paul Ryan his prison bitch! #vpdebate

Eva Longoria (@EvaLongoria) October 12, 2012

Today Longoria is claiming she doesn't know how the 'twat' tweet showed up in her timeline and playing dumb, but since it happened before with the 'prison' tweet it does make her look like the guilty tweeter.

This is what she tweeted today as her excuse:

Eva Longoria

@EvaLongoria
Is anyone else's twitter bugging out? There are things in my timeline I didn't retweet today. Hmmm? Standby trying to fix!

https://twitter.com/EvaLongoria/statuses/258917803116068864

These were selected tweets she obviously agreed with and felt compelled to reshare with her followers.

It looks like the response by both GOP minority women and progressive minority women has been negative and now she is backtracking and looking for ways to cover her butt. Hopefully this goes on to bite her in the butt and she eventually steps down as Obama's campaign co-chair, but I doubt it. Liberals are more accustomed to denial, blaming and lying to cover their tracks.

Do you think she'll have the class to resign or admit to tweeting the RT rather than blame some mysterious twitter bug??

I happen to think anyone who could support Obama is delusional, a socialist/communist and anti-American. But also only cares about themselves, and the government provided 'free stuff' like health care, contraceptives, abortion, sterilizations, welfare/food stamps etc rather than personal responsibility and self-reliance.  Any woman or Christian who supports Obama is going against God when it comes to supporting abortion, which is not just against the Church but against God himself. He gave us the gift of life, we don't have the right to deny anyone their inalieanble rights of life, liberty and happiness. Those are the rights the government is supposed to protect&defend!

Anyway, as a woman and 'Hispanic' I support Romney/Ryan because they 'believe in America' and believe in protecting the rights of all Americans including the most vulnerable in the womb and the elderly, from womb to tomb. While Romney says he supports abortion in cases of rape/incest and to protect the life of the mother, I still support him because at least he doesn't support infanticide, gendercide and abortion up to the moment of birth and post-abortion/birth!

This same individual claims to have evidence of possible collusion between the Obama campaign and CNN staff.

LBN:
It wouldn't surprise me since it was proven they stacked the audience with plants in 2008 as well.

It was a coincidence how Obama called on Candy Crowley to get transcript of Rose Garden speech regarding whether he called Libya attack terrorism and she pulled it out on cue.

From what I hear this is a rare occassion for Rev Graham to come out politically like this, but shows his concern for the future of our country should Obama win another four years. Graham is said to have been personal friends with just about every President in his adult life, whether he agreed with them politically or not,not this time& not with this President.

Romney up in Pennsylvania;Closing gap in OH&CO w/Early Voters

Romney up in Pennsylvania;Closing gap in OH&CO w/Early Voters | Littlebytesnews Current Events | Scoop.it

Romney takes 48 percent support in Ohio, edging President Obama at 47, in the new poll conducted by American Research Group (ARG). It’s the latest survey to show Romney erasing the gender gap. He now trails Obama only 48 to 45 among female voters in the Buckeye State…

And in Colorado, likely voters went for Romney 50 to 46 over Obama, in ARG’s poll. Romney soundly outpaced Obama among female voters in the state, taking 51 percent support against Obama at 45…

Ohio and Colorado are two of the 12 states President Bush won in 2004 that Obama took in 2008. These 12 battleground states will be critical in determining the outcome of the 2012 election.

Florida is drifting away from the Democrats and Romney comes through in Ohio and Colorado, then he’s at 262 with a slew of swing states available to put him over the top. Virginia alone could do it. So could Wisconsin. And so, of course, could Pennsylvania, although if he wins PA then we’re staring at a Republican landslide, not a 270-268 win.

Update: Turns out that Ohio/Colorado poll news from The Hill was published on October 9, not today. Drat. Note to self: Always check the dates on stories you’ve arrived at from links on Twitter. Apologies for the bad info. Obama’s bounced back a bit in Ohio since that ARG poll but there have been other polls in Colorado since then showing Romney ahead — barely. He’s up two-tenths of a point in the RCP average.

Four years ago, Democrats made up about 42% of the early and absentee vote while Republicans made up 22% – a dismal 20-point deficit that contributed to Sen. John McCain’s defeat in Ohio.

Through Wednesday, however, the margin has narrowed: Democrats account for 36% of the early and absentee vote while Republicans make up for 29%.

Republicans are outperforming their voter registration in several of the state’s biggest counties…

Additionally, a Republican National Committee source told CNN that among early voters not identifying with any party, RNC modeling has tagged 30.5% as Romney supporters and 24.9% as Obama supporters.

Susquehanna’s automated poll or 1,376 likely voters was taken between Oct. 11 and 13, before the second presidential debate Tuesday that many saw as a comeback for Obama since his Oct. 3 showdown with Romney.

Lee said Romney has made significant gains in the all-important suburbs of Philadelphia, a ring of counties that helped push Obama to victory in 2008.

“Republicans haven’t been able to do that in 20 years,” Lee said. “Romney has made some major inroads.”

Obama Called Libya Attack Terrorism Long Before Romney

Obama Called Libya Attack Terrorism Long Before Romney | Littlebytesnews Current Events | Scoop.it
During the past several weeks of campaigning, Mitt Romney has argued that President Obama’s supposed failure to label the killing of Benghazi “terrorism” for two weeks was evidence that he had failed to lead on the issue.

LBN:
This is the second time today I have come across a liberal blog post from Think Progress and am amazed at how they spin the truth. They even ignore the fact that Candy Crowley herself came out and admitted she was wrong and Romney was right regarding when Obama referenced the attack in Libya as terrorism. http://weaselzippers.us/2012/10/17/flashback-candy-crowley-tells-axelrod-obama-never-called-benghazi-an-act-of-terror/

Obama was referring to 9/11/2001 when he mentioned the term "act of terror", which in Obama's mind could mean workplace violence as the Ft. Hood Islamist attack was labeled. However, he never did call the attack in Libya terrorism or Islamic terrorism or the attackers terrorists. He labeled it senseless violence and referred to the unseen video mocking Mohammed. Then he and Hillary spent $70K in tax payers money blaming the video for the violence and attack in Libya rather than condemning terrorism. He continued this narrative for two weeks, along with Hillary, UN Ambasador Rice and the main stream media.

And during those two weeks the Obama administration lied like a rug. For Crowley to step in and attempt to correct Romney on a statement that is at best arguable, was completely out of line. http://thehill.com/blogs/global-affairs/terrorism/261839-timeline-of-libya-attack-reveals-administration-contradictions-
