After George Zimmerman was acquitted by jury trial in the tragic death of Trayvon Martin, President Obama said, "Trayvon could have been me 35 years ago."
Well, George Zimmerman could be you tomorrow.
Following the trial, Eric Holder's Department of Justice immediately created a website to "troll" for tips about whether Zimmerman is a racist despite FBI findings that Zimmerman is not.
Zimmerman spoke out and helped African-Americans in his community. He is the 'anti-racist,' but that matters little in Obama's America, where division, not truth, is what counts.
Zimmerman and even his family are getting death threats, but the Justice Department ordered that his gun be withheld from him.
What the Zimmerman matter shows boldly is the unprecedented abuse of federal government power against individual Americans. Drones, unlawful collection of private data and other general surveillance of our society are little compared to the use of the full civil and criminal powers of the federal government against individuals for political purposes.
