“This defendant decided that the victim was up to no good,” said prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda. The prosecutor said, “In the defendant’s mind, this was a criminal, and he was tired of criminals out there.
Nothing wrong with tracking a criminal as a concerned citizen...there was nothing racist about it..."they" did not mean a race....but thieves, suspicious characters are usually known to commit crimes in the dark..makes perfect sense why Trayvon looked suspicious walking between buildings rather than taking the sidewalk to the main street. This whiny prosecutor is a race baitor and playing the race card just like Obama and Sharpton and the race baiting liberal media wants him to. It's all a show and politically motivated lynching so they can push their class warfare agenda and push gun control. They are trying to minimize the need to carry a weapon for self defense.
However, they have proven nothing....they still have not proven it was 2nd degree murdern or manslaughter, they still can't prove who initiated the fight, but it's clear who the one yelling for help was and who had the most injuries and needed to defend himself, George Zimmerman. Trayvon confronted him...if he didn't confront him and kept walking nothing would have happened between them. This proves Trayvon didin't show any fear and instead instigated the fight when he confronted Zimmerman and asked why he was following him...or said....'you got a problem...you do now..'
Eye witnesses reported seeing Trayvon on top of Zimmerman punching him and forensics prove Trayvon was on top based on the grass stains on his knees and the grass stains found on Zimmerman's back, but also according to the gun shot projectory. It was proven Zimmerman was on the bottom when he had no choice but to shoot Trayvon in self defense because he was getting his head pounded into the sidewalk. At worst they will find him guilty of manslaughter and say it was excessive force because he used his gun, but since when is self defense and the means of defending yourself considered excessive force? Someone was bound to lose and whether Zimmerman had a gun or not someone was bound to end up seriously injured or killed if they would have continued fighting and it was likely going to be Zimmerman since he was the one on the bottum and suffered the most injury.
This whole case is nothing more than a political lyinching because Obama, Sharpton and Holder want to push their class warfare agenda and make gun users look dangerous and deligitimize the use of guns for self defense outside the home. Hopefully the women on the jury can see through the political rhetoric and consider the facts and evidence in the case and leave the race baiting out of it.
