john kubbernus's insight:

Every man must be swift about hearing, slow about speaking, slow about wrath.—Jas. 1:19.

If a Christian senses that he is becoming angry when discussing a matter with a fellow believer, he is wise to heed this counsel. What are the benefits of following it?

By taking time to calm down, pray about the matter, and consider how best to reply, a Christian allows himself to be led by God’s spirit. (Prov. 15:1, 28)

Under the influence of the spirit, he can manifest mildness and long-suffering. He is thereby equipped to heed the counsel found at Ephesians 4:26, 29: “Be wrathful, and yet do not sin . . . Let a rotten saying not proceed out of your mouth, but whatever saying is good for building up as the need may be, that it may impart what is favorable to the hearers.

” Indeed, when we clothe ourselves with mildness and long-suffering, we contribute to the peace and unity of the congregation. w11 4/15 4:6, 7

Jehovah Is On Our Side: Psalms 118

john kubbernus's insight:

Jehovah is on our side: Psalms 118: Call out to Protection under Jehovah’s safety.

Even when we are persecuted: Any weapon whatever that will be formed against you will have no success, and any tongue at all that will rise up against you in the judgment you will condemn.

5: Out of the distressing circumstances I called upon Jah;
Jah answered [and put] me into a roomy place.

6: Jehovah is on my side; I shall not fear.
What can earthling man do to me?

7: Jehovah is on my side among those helping me,
So that I myself shall look upon those hating me.

8: It is better to take refuge in Jehovah
Than to trust in earthling man.

9: It is better to take refuge in Jehovah
Than to trust in nobles.

10: All the nations themselves surrounded me.
It was in the name of Jehovah that I kept holding them off.

11: They surrounded me, yes, they had me surrounded.
It was in the name of Jehovah that I kept holding them off.

Psalms 23: 1 -6
john kubbernus's insight:

For The Few Will Walk With Him:  Do We Hold True Faith Or "Blindly" Hold Two Candles:

1st John 1: 6 ~ 10

6 If we make the statement: “We are having a sharing with him,” and yet we go on walking in the darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth.

7 However, if we are walking in the light as he himself is in the light, we do have a sharing with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we make the statement: “We have no sin,” we are misleading ourselves and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous so as to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we make the statement: “We have not sinned,” we are making him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Matthew 6: 33, 34~ As It Applies To Marriages.

I have earned my strips/bandages in life to add value to this subject~Give a Listen:

In my Journey in life I have examined relationships today and the staggering number (over 52% now fail in marriages). Society is not understanding "why" the foundation is falling apart.   I can "state" these SIMPLE facts and take the complication out of the mystery:

Like our physical failing environment, changes in our human behaviors to return back to the Core Value proposition of Quality Relationship 'Management and Development" will take a grave wordly event to change society to reflect.

Right now we can only hope that today people start to Seek - The Truth for the simple "Rules of Engagement" to the foundation of life’s building blocks.

1: Our parents, grandparents held 80% MORE faith in God and the Practices of the 10 Commandments then today and CREATED Value versus EXPECTING Value.

2: Society today is trained NOT to SLOW DOWN and enjoy the JOURNEY - GROW and nurture relationships - It's now Hurry, make a decision or move on.  Average dating in our Parents Time - 3 to 5 years, today 3 MONTHS.

2: Life today is "handed" to society in the "Rich Lands" from day one - The Value of fighting for what you first "Cherished" is no longer for the most part.  No fear of loss anymore, as EVERYTHING is replaceable now.

3: We are now a throwaway Society - Don't like It - Toss It instead of building value "around" what we have.

4: We are currently raising generations to be "TOUGH" in the "WRONG" way - the previous generations had to be tough - But had Heart: Now it is "I Don't Care" approach, I will hurt first before getting hurt.

In Summary~ some of the 10 Commandments that apply to the above:

5> Honor your mother and father - This provides the foundation to passes to Marriages.

7> Do not commit Adultery – Core understanding of being 100% Faithful during a Relationship – Heart, Head, and Body, Is the biggest demon in failing relationships now.

8>  Do not steal – Society today “take or be taken from”, so there is no Trust building anymore.

9> Do not lie – How truly faithful are we in our daily practices, instead of being truthful and dealing with issues, it is easier now to “white lie” to our Bosses, Friends, and Family~ This bleeds into relationships like poison.

10> Do not covet- Quit looking over the neighbour’s fence and taunting or taking his possessions (Life Partners) – Guess what “What You Sew, Shall You Reap”

Examining The Scriptures Daily 2013

john kubbernus's insight:

Text for April 15, 2013

Monday, April 15

The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous ones, and his ears are toward their cry for help.—Ps. 34:15.

We often feel the need to be comforted. Especially is this the case when we are experiencing difficult situations.

Family members and friends can usually give us a degree of comfort. At times, however, conditions that cause us distress are beyond human remedies. Only God can give us comfort regardless of how distressing our situation may be. His Word assures us: “Jehovah is near to all those calling upon him, . . . and their cry for help he will hear.” (Ps. 145:18, 19)

But if we are to receive God’s support and comfort, we must place our trust in him. The psalmist David made that clear when he sang: “Jehovah will become a secure height for anyone crushed, a secure height in times of distress. And those knowing your name will trust in you, for you will certainly not leave those looking for you, O Jehovah.”—Ps. 9:9, 10. w11 10/15 3:1, 2
