It will be interesting to see how this picture changes over the next year. While Richard Branson is currently the undisputed CEO social champion nothing lasts forever on social media. He has a loyal following but even he sees wildly varying engagement levels depending on the quality of what he posts.

With the age of technology including email, websites, search engines and a multitude of various other ways we can connect and find out information, how come it still happens that people don't seem to take the time to correctly spell a person's name that they are contacting, or who has contacted you?It still continues to happen on a weekly basis where people just don't take the time to read the message, let alone take the time to correctly spell the person's name to whom they are responding to.Are we that busy or consumed that we can not spend an additional 30 seconds to look up the correct sp

Last week, I gave a keynote speech to about 300 people. The hall was huge, with each person sitting at a large and long table, facing straight towards the podium. I was the first speaker of the day, and except for the AV guy, I was the first one there.After doing my sound check, I decided to stand in the back of the hall and watch as people filled the room. As each person entered, I thought:Help this person.In the beginning, it was easy to focus on one person at a time and think:Help this person.Then people started arriving in groups of two or three, or even more. I did my best to keep up.As
