Same research help, more ways to get it: now find us on Wikipedia, Twitter and Facebook

When I was growing up, I wanted to be a girl detective. Always ready to detect clues, ask questions and follow hunches, I longed for mysteries to solve. The schoolgirl sleuth is often pictured in the act of enquiry - shining her flashlight into the darkness, brow furrowed, reflecting on the clues until the pieces fit together. I never unearthed any school holiday mysteries, but the thrill of the information hunt never left me. An inquiring mind helps me in my work every day.

Australian special libraries' return on investment | Australian Library and Information Association

Australian special libraries' return on investment | Australian Library and Information Association | Librarysoul | Scoop.it
On 2 April 2014, ALIA, in conjunction with the Australian Law Library Association, Health Libraries Inc (HLInc) and Health Libraries Australia (ALIA HLA, a national group of the Australian Library and Information Association), released a study which suggests law firms, government departments, associations and other organisations involved with special libraries gain over $5 in return for every $1 they invest in special libraries. The partners commissioned award-winning firm SGS Economics and Planning to survey special libraries across the nation and from this to assess the return on the annual investment in these services to their organisations.  To view the full report, please click here.  The full report from SGS is available here.  Click here to view the press release.  Email banner.
