When Kathy Schrock catches a good article, I pay attention. The woman is an EdTech legend. Also, she went to a truly great university (inside joke: my own, dear Rutgers). Kathy has done more to support teachers through the use of the internet than any other single person I know. Don't believe me? Check out her home page: http://www.schrockguide.net/

Can learning be accessible to all?  With appropriate pedagogy and technology digital learning provides an opportunity for people who are marginalized by time, place, and distance to obtain education and training.  Not everyone has the opportunity to save for school, quit work and attend a traditional full-time education program (while balancing family responsibilities).
