I just revisited Flipboard for the first time in a long time after reading Vicky's review. I do believe this would be a great curation tool - especially for those lucky enough to have a 1:1 iPad classroom!

Maureen Sullivan, president of the American Library Association, gives an overview of the state of play for school libraries in the USA. Constant cut budgetary cutbacks will have a long term effect on the education of our young people.

Joyce Valenza identifies curating as an "information life skill." While librarians are uniquely qualified for this task, it is a skill that everyone can benefit from, including students.
