No matter how much academics express displeasure about college rankings, the rankings continue to multiply. Each new one claims to offer some advantage over the competition. Will higher education ever be able to bring ranking madness to an end?

This is one kind of shared staffing I was envisioning in recent #ICOLC conversations about library consortia and staffing. Here the consortium hired a staff person with a specific skill set that will serve all member libraries. Every library has the need but none would be able to hire to fill it. Great job #TBLC!
