I was amazed by two main facts: 1. iPads offer deep student engagement, raise student motivation, and can match the level of individual achievement. 2. 27% increase in vocabulary among 5-year-olds after they used an educational iPad app and a 17% improvement by 3-year-olds. I wonder what app was being used?

Number of college applications affected by social media triples

A couple of weeks ago I tried to tell my eLearning course instructor that recruiters and HR departments are screening potential employees in this way and she told me that if a company was doing so that the company probably wouldn't be worth working for. I wonder if she knows whether or not the physical college that she works for does this with prospective students? Then again, if the college did, according to her logic, it would be a college not worth attending. What do you think?
