I can see this being used for more than just invitations - for anything ongoing as well.

So I created one for the elearning showcase in Wellington on the 21st February. It was pretty easy and look forward to sharing on twitter and taking and sharing photos during the event. Only draw back is the Americanisation of the date. I like the fact I can have all of my events on the app and can share via social media during them. It's a great tool and really easy to use. Here's the one for the elearning showcase http://my.yapp.us/J9Y49R.

Ania, I don't know if a mobile app is available for apple (it's not for windows yet). It's very smooth, I agree. It reminds me of Prezi and Glogster, as well :)

Content curation is as important as finding the information in the first place. Blogs possibilities for co-ordinating digital content curation.

Blogs can be excellent curation tools. Ask me, the woman who is saying goodbye to over 20+ Posterous blogs (public, private, shared) as Posterous shuts down at the end of April.

Gyazo has been in existence for quite a while but I came across the site only now. It is a free program for making screenshots and sharing them on social sites, via email or by URL. Looks easy and neat.

Strange there are only Desktop/Laptop tools listed in this Top 5. I believe a tablet is a more appropriate device for mind mapping. On my own in a declining chair as well as in a group without the screen standing up between participants. Personally i love IthoughtsHD on the iPad.

Mindmapping has always been a great way to get your thoughts and plans organized. Here is an article which describes the top five most popular programs. Our personal preference is either Xmind or FreeMind, both free, but all of them will help your business. Delete the scoop?

Formerly known as WallWisher, Padlet is a cool web app which allows anyone to easily create, share and publish multimedia contents with extreme ease. Padlet provides an empty canvas on which you can upload and freely position any image, link, video or file you want. Actually you have two options for layout: a) Stream (as in a blog) and b) Freeform. Your final composition can be published as a public page, shared on social media or embedded fully inside your website or blog. Padlet works across all types of devices and screens. Free to use.
GIANFRANCO MARINI's curator insight,

I've been using Scoop.it, RebelMouse and a RebelMouse WordPress plugin which works, but I have to watch it closely since Scoop.it can't seem to post the right pictures to RebelMouse.

Hi Stan, I hear your complaint there and I must say that you are not the only one seeing that issue.
I have been reporting interoperability issues with other services since at least a year but to no avail. Unfortunately new features and support for mobile devices seem to have a priority on fixing the foundations first.
