Creating your own school iPad App - Mark Anderson's Blog

Creating your own school iPad App - Mark Anderson's Blog | Lesson | Scoop.it

"As a general rule, I don’t tend to blog too much about what I get up to at School, that’s not really what my blog is about. That said however, some of you that also follow me on Twitter may have seen me tweeting recently about a student I teach who has developed an iPad App for the School. A few people, such as Pedagoo asked me to write about it and so here are some of the steps to how this happened, so that, if you wanted to try and replicate this yourself, you might be able to."

Mr P's ICT blog - iPads in the Classroom: Utilising the iPad to enhance Primary Science lessons | Lesson | Scoop.it

"Many of my posts look at ways to use the iPads in Literacy and Numeracy to enhance learning and engage, motivate and inspire children. But how can using the iPad also help children in other subjects like Science, History or Geography? Here are some ideas about how using the iPad can help the children show, share and develop their learning in these subjects with a distinct focus on Science."

My iPad Challenge - Mr. Thornton's eLearning Site

My iPad Challenge - Mr. Thornton's eLearning Site | Lesson | Scoop.it

"Can you make it a week using only the iPad and not a dekstop computer? That is the question that I would like to attempt to answer this week as I take a challenge to work from an iPad for the whole week without using a desktop computer. I understand that this sounds like a first world problem or challenge but for someone who relies on a MacBook to do a lot different work throughout the day, this will definitely be a big challenge. My new found interest in this comes following a recent iPad conference with EdTech Teacher in Atlanta. After seeing some of the amazing things that teachers and students are doing with iPads, I thought I can do more with my iPad. I felt that the best way to do this would be to challenge myself to use my iPad more and using it exlusively will definitely be a challenge. So now I begin the iPad challenge. Here are a few ground rules I have established for the challenge:"
