Les ARTISTES du WEB has been founded in december 2010 by Tanguy Mignot to share exciting artists from around the internet. It consist of a mix of various talents and by this is a kind of volunteer Artist's curation.
The main idea is to use blogs and social places to spread the talent of the artists. Each ARTISTES du WEB's place show a work from the artist's portofolio and link it to the official webplace of the artist. A Facebook page is used to share and talk about it.
As we all have our favorite place on the internet, I decided to "duplicate" the site on various media. So you can follow the Artists on Posterous, Tumblr, Wordpress, RSS, Pinterest, Fancy.it, Scoop.it, Weheartit, Twitter, Google+, Facebook, Linkedin...

Maintenant que vous soulevez le sujet, à savoir: demander l'accord de l'artiste avant ou après la parution de l'un de ses tableaux...je reste stupéfaite car pour moi (sans n'avoir rien lu de vous à ce sujet, avant), je pensais que cela coulait de source, non? C'est la moindre des choses !
C'est une question d'éthique et de respect des uns et des autres, tout simplement. Mais on apprend tous les jours dans la vie. J'apprécie en tous cas, le lay out général de votre site; Petite question: que veulent dire tous ces aka zarambatus, et aca par ci- aca par là? Est-ce un code? Je me trouve juste en face de l'illustration en bleu de Chris Parks (Pale horse Design): il me fait bcp penser à la chemise drapée de Dùrer dans son auto portrait. De ttes façons, en tant qu'artistes (moi ancienne des Bx-Arts), on s'inspire tjrs de la vie ou d'autres artistes, oeuvres, ect.. Résumé: j'aime bien votre site et vs avez un don très "acurate" du choix des oeuvres. Très rarement, qque chose ne me plaît pas, parce que ça n'a qu'un sens de voyeurisme... Merci. Salutations. En effet, initialement plutôt un portofolio personnel, je ne jugeais pas utile de faire plus que d'informer l'artiste de l'ajout d'un lien pointant vers son site. Maintenant que ce blog prend une tournure un peu plus public, je partage votre avis, l'artiste est invité, il/elle peut donc refuser. C'est bien normal :) Bonne journée !

Ok without a live image:
The use of blue orange is a common overworked color approach and large dose's of red can just set one back. This peice is not one of those overworked peices, this artist presents a playfull subject matter with the balance of texture,a lovely range of red/orange's that compliment versus compete for our attention of this humorous presentation. Please forgive lack of French however it is on my list of things to learn. i can presume the text is some ironic play on the subject matter. That said my Hats off to this artist well done Jerry Alan

Inspired
At first i thought of Manuel Pena's work with his elongated images then i saw the web site and thought wow cubism at its best but with curves. I love the limited color palette it unify's the work for me. Also the isolated imagary creates a focus that is pleasing and familiar. These stylzied images/illustrations are playfully done and lend themselves to carrying any message attached with them. My hats off to you Jerry Delete the scoop?

This is clearly a must see in person to fully appreicate this peice, for me it captures that feeling i have when i look at one of these shells.
My grandmother had a conch shell that i loved to look at and listen to the sounds inside. The smooth and rough texture fascinated me so that is why i say this is a must see in person. This digitaL COPY surely cannot give us what it has to give without seeing in person. Visual pleasing, excellent use of color overall, yelllows are hard to capture without muddling them up, also what can not be judge is the impact of its size or lack there of, is this a large peice or smaller? Either way my hats off to you Jerry

Great work. love the style with the broad use of brush strokes. The blured look realy works to add the realistic look.
