It Approved that congress in March 1941, gave FDR virtually unlimited  authority to direct material. Also it talks about how they gave ammunition,tanks, airplanes, trucks and food to the war effort in Europe. Lend Lease Program Act cost 49.1 billion and over 40 nations had recieved aid in its name. The Lending Act propose a vastly expanded role for the U.S. government. FDR even employed the same photograghy that documented the Farm Security Administration.The Lend Lease Act show how the government was empowered as well as the President.

In the Lend Lease Act it talks about how it would help people lend Great Britain goods. Also would describe that they used this act to team up with Great Britain in the war. Although they did lend them goods they developed another act called the Johnson Act. The Johnson Act would tell how they would no longer be lending them goods. The Johnson Act was developed in 1943. The United States plan was to avoid conflict in the war. By avoiding the conflict they would team up with Great Britain so they could fight their battles for them.  That is the reason they developed the Lend Lease ACT.  In this process President Roosevelt would be the one to make it official. That being said the Act ended up being successful and working to their advantage. The act lasted for 5 years and was meeting the United States criteria. In the process the Act would create more opportunities for people.

 

The lend lease act would benefit the United States very well. Also would help them in the war. By presenting it to the House of Representatives it would cause a 2-week committee. Also in the process they would develop a contract of agreement to make the lend lease act official. They would show what and what the Act was not breaking in the process of being created. The lease would describe how they had many considering options in the process of creating the act. The president would receive information about the act and address it publically in certain times. The act would describe the outbreak war in Europe. Also how Armed Hammer played a huge role in the act.  He would meet with FDR to talk about the Lend Lease Act. Also he would talk to Harry Hopkins about the war to make agreements. The agreements would be about the act and benefits between them both and U.S.

Also describes how President Roosevelt lended goods to those in need.  It talks about how the act helped certain countries like Great Britain in the process of the Lend Act. Includes about the outbreak in the Europe as far as the war. In the Act Great Britain was suppose to return goods back to them when the crisis was over. The Lend Lease Act would tell how the Johnson Act would end up stopping the Lending Act in 1934

It will basically tell about how Armend Hammer played a huge roll in the Lend Lease Act. In 1940 he met with FDR in the White House. He and the president were talking about developing military assisstance to Great Britain. The Neutrality Act would help them not be involved in the war. Also they talked to Harry Hopkins about the war. Hammer's jobe was to discuss with the businessmen in the meeting.

Frankin D. Roosevelt was involved in the Lend Lease Act on this website. Also the act prohibited extensions on credit. The U.S. would lend Great Briain money.

It talks about how it was presented to the House of Representatives and lasted in a 2 week committee. Also how the preseident would recieve info about the Act and publically address it. Another thing is that it talked about the amendments it was breaking or not breaking in the process. Also how after June 30, 1943 the presidents never involved the act anymore. Talked about the contract agreement that the government made before July. It discussed the considered options in the process of creating the Lending Act.

Tells how the bill that Roosevelt signed in 1940 would bring us into more debt with countries. The bill he signed was $7,000,000,000 and new york times claims that may put us in a deep hole. They bring up how last year millions were laid off and people lost welfare. Another thing they describe is that the British Sea rised sharply in terms of money terms. But during their agreement process they found a way to not pay a dime. So they feel it has in some way a reason to do with our financial blows in the U.S. but that there are many other reasons in the process.

On this link the website talks about the Atlantic Charter and the 1st time Roosevelt and Churchill met face to face. The meeting was called the Summitt Conference. The purpose was to combat Nazism and Facism. The conference was held in 1940. The Lend Lease Act was a way to supply Britain with planes, tanks, guns, artillery and ammunition without paying for it.
