OK. I agree with the concepts. What I wonder about is will the political mandarins and their bureaucratic minions allow civil disobedience? Innovation and real change occur on the fringes and not in the mainstream. Delete the scoop?

This is an interesting option to use that will allow more of a "facebook" type assignment for students while being able to use a variety of tools to limit what can be done, all while keeping it pretty much " in house" Delete the scoop?

Being a 21st Century educator is creating a learning environment that is social, collaborative and project based. Teachers, nor anyone else for that matter, will ever be able to keep up with all new technologies. The trick is to focus on digital technologies that facilitate student collaboration.

"Almost like a demigod, the education industry seeks the golden bullet that will solve the problem of providing an engaging personalized learning experience for every child and we assume it will have a USB port." Exit tickets seem to be a great way to go in terms of formative assessment. An Alan Novemeber webinar suggested the students provide critical thinking questions as their exit ticket, which is another idea that could still work with this.
