Eliminate Traditional Grades with Digital Feedback

Eliminate Traditional Grades with Digital Feedback | Learning Technology, Pedagogy and Research | Scoop.it

"In this post from our series on strategies for eliminating traditional grades, we feature feedback, using Google–a sneak peek at one part of the new Assessment 3.0: How to Throw Out Your Grade Book and Inspire Learning (Corwin, 2015).

Excellent video on eliminating traditional grades.  As a classroom teacher, I can appreciate the need for immediate feedback for student work.  Thanks to various programs such as "Google Classroom", "Achieve 3000", and the ALEKS computer math program, students can get rapid feedback on quizzes, essay tests, and even class projects.  Digital tools are becoming indispensable in the classroom.  Aloha, Russ.
