It is amazing to see how the economy has not only affected the employment rates but also the management/leadership's attitudes towards their employees. The sad trends highlighted in this article have become common in today's organizations for the past 5 years. But leaders and managers, beware that these attitudes are short-sighted and going to become your own trap once the economy swings up again... Delete the scoop?

But if you think about it, we don't let 12 yo kids drive cars, we don't let 18 yo kids drink, and we don't allow blind people to drive.
