Kinda wish I had known about this plug-in for Safari, Firefox and Chrome before I finished my master’s program. TLDR stands of “Too Long, Didn’t Read.”  The plugin uses Stermor's proprietary language heuristics engine, Liquid Helium, to summarize articles on the Web. The user can choose whether they want a short, medium or longer summary. Has anybody used it? Can you vouch for its accuracy?
