Using Nearpod to host Assistive Technology Workshops at Forth Valley College demonstrating to students how to use features of TextHelp's Read & Write Gold

LearningDevelopment@ForthValleyCollege's insight:

Using Nearpod we are able to support learners with specific learning difficulties learning how to use Read & Write Gold. Nearpod allows is to provide structured support sessions, which can be controlled by a member of our team. Each session offers interactive elements to discuss the benefits of assistive technology and to offer an opportunity to review the students' understanding. This content can be shared with the students and their peers to offer the students immediate feedback on their learning. The sessions are managed by the Nearpod software, with online sign-in and progress reports, which can be reviewed at any time by the user. Nearpod offers the opportunity to provide review sessions to learners, in the form of homework that they can review in their own time and at their own pace.

Nearpod is a wonderful, one-stop solution to manage learning workshops, with great customisable features that allows you to present content in an engaging and interesting way.
