The Esperanto alphabet | World Articles

Esperanto is written with 28 letters, 22 produced directly from basic latin alphabet (q, w, x, and there are not used), and the other six (ĉ, ĝ, ĥ, ĵ, ŝ, ŭ), also derived from this base, are with an accent. Each of these 28 letters, reinforced or not, is a letter, with its place in alphabetical order and its entry in the dictionary.
