Google Glass will be a big step in human's history, but a project will have a good side and a bad side. 40years ago people start using mobile phone there were lots people against it but after 40years basically everyone is using it. In my opinion Google Glass is the project to take us to the "new world", and in the future Google will makes something more than Glass, could be Google eyeballs or anything, they make it cause we want it.
