Velocity is units/time with direction. Many teams struggle to obtain a stable velocity. Velocity is a lagging indicator like unemployment, or the weather forecast. You don’t fix unemployment by focusing on that, you fix unemployment by fixing the economy.

Il est des situations économiques où une prise de décision rapide est décisive pour la (sur)vie de l'entreprise. Il est aussi des situations où la réflexion sur son mode de fonctionnement, sur sa capacité à appréhender son environnement, ou à s'adapter rapidement, peut être tout aussi déterminant.

L'entreprise sans niveaux décisionnaires imposants est à même de réagir promptement. Je plaide pour un tissus économique de petites structures qui s'adaptent très rapidement aux marchés et, surtout aux résultats de leur veille stratégique à savoir: leur clientèles ! Les grosses structures ont cette tare de devoir organiser des réunions entre les grands décideurs et doivent compenser par une prédiction du marché avec toute l'insécurité de "rester dans le coup".

En effet la France a du boulot ...pour moi l' entreprise gagnante et performante serait : une entreprise avec des équipes a dimension humaine ( +/- 15 pers) definir le perimetre d'autonomie decisionnelle des équipes, outils collaboratifs, leadership des responsables ...le 1er acte de management est le recrutement. Les nouveaux doivent etre recrutés autant sur leur Savoir Etre que sur leur Savoir Faire,une belle adaptabilité intellectuelle, savoir renoncé pour mieux bifurquer et gagner .... Rien n est acquis ! ;) ah j oubliais le dirigeant doit avoir la Vista, cad etre visionnaire et toujours avoir minimum 3 coups d avances comme aux échecs ... Quitte a surprendre et a etre decalé. Les meilleures stratégies sont celles auxquelles l on ne s' attend pas.
