Ben Hamer's curator insight, March 21, 2013 5:07 AM

This article was effective because it explained exactly what technology integration is. The article says that successful technology integration occurs when using technology is 'routine and transparent', easily accessible and able to complete the required tasks and supports their curricular goals. Technology integration is important in education because it should allow students to do things in a more timely manner and their work should also be presented in a more professional manner. I also believe it's important because it prepares students for what the real world is becoming which is becoming more and more reliant on technology year on year which is why it's important to integrate technology at the younger ages.

Danielle X's comment, March 21, 2013 6:46 AM
This article introduced what technology integration is, and i believe technology integration is very important in the school. There is an example which just happened couple days ago in AUT, due to internet break down, there was no way to access internet in the campus, a scheduled presentation in my class was canceled, many students were complaining that they couldn't submit their online tests..As we can see how much we rely on technology in study, technology plays a very important role in education.
Mohammed Bin Afif's comment, March 21, 2013 10:59 PM
Technology integration is very important to achieve an integrated marketing communication strategy. Prior to technological advances such as mobile phones and the internet businesses had little chance to have reciprocal communication with consumers. Now that marketing has more channels due to new technology the marketing effort must be integrated to ensure one message is reaching consumers to maximize the result from the advertising and not to mislead or confuse consumers with different messages about the same brand. Overall a good article on technology integration, it would be nice to see the implications for marketing described however.
