One of the newest hit-makers in the mobile-game industry once again hails from Finland, but Supercell is making money with cows and dragons instead of Angry Birds.
Supercell Oy says it is profitable and grossing more than $500,000 a day in revenue from its two games, the medieval-strategy title "Clash of Clans" and the farming app "Hay Day." Amid the success, the two-year-old startup in November moved its 80 employees into a massive office complex abandoned by struggling phone maker Nokia Corp. a sign of the times in Helsinki. The city's buzzing startup scene has hatched numerous big-game developers in recent years, including "Angry Birds" maker Rovio Entertainment Ltd. Via Ulla M. Saikku

Did you know there is a lot of work that has to happen before one begins creating a content marketing strategy? There is and I am going to give you some strategies that will help you begin and also explain some important “non-negotiables”, as I call them.
Your business will need at the least a team of two people. This is especially true when your are writing/rewriting the content for the main pages of a website. They need to work together to create the content you need. There should be brainstorming and as they say, two brains are better than one. Seriously, this task is a two person job at a minimum. There is Work to Be Done Before Your Team Begins: There are no short cuts for effective and organized content marketing. The non-negotiables below have to be completed before writing begins. They apply to the writing of main content pages of a website and all other forms of content marketing. Read more: http://bit.ly/M0gEc7 Via Martin Gysler Delete the scoop?

Forget the small stuff, for now. What's your big objective?
As January approaches, and we bid another year adieu, our thoughts turn to making resolutions: this year I will lose that extra weight, drink less alcohol, give up sugar, get out of debt. All worthy goals, but why do we perennially return to resolutions that seem based on the idea of fixing all the things we're doing "wrong?"
You can't know what resolution you need until you know what your objective is. In photography, the resolution of the image is entirely dependent on the output you want. If you're looking at an image on your computer monitor, 72 dpi (dots per inch) is fine, but if you want to print that image, you'll need a much higher resolution, say 240 dpi. If you then want to make that image into a billboard, you actually need a relatively lower dpi, because the further away you are from it, the more your eyes will blend the colors for you (think of a Georges Seurat painting). Sometimes a little thing change the face of the world, on LinkedIn it's the one-click endorsement. I think it's really a great idea from LinkedIn to introduce this possibility. [note Martin Gysler]
It took LinkedIn nine years to reach 187 million members. It took the professional social network about one month to pass 200 million endorsements.

Content marketing can be an extremely complicated, time-consuming, and expensive proposition! So I came up with content options for the time-starved!
Let’s face it. Content development can be a complicated, time-consuming, and expensive proposition! So I started thinking about this in the context of my friends and small business customers who simply can’t afford that kind of effort. It led to this idea: micro-content, or creating small bits of marketing content when you don’t have time to blog, create videos or spend all day on Facebook. Let’s examine ideas about using micro-content for your social media strategy, assuming you are testing the water and only have 15 minutes a day to devote to this activity. Hey, I’m up for a challenge! Preparation Like any marketing initiative, you must have a firm idea of your strategy, selling points, and target audience...
