Une civilisation croît lorsque son élite suscite l’adhésion interne et externe grâce à sa capacité créative. Elle cesse de croître lorsqu’une cassure se produit et que cette élite cesse d’être créative et se transforme peu à peu en minorité dominante fonctionnant sur une logique de contrôle.
