rodrick rajive lal's curator insight, November 26, 2013 10:41 PM

This is full of  important information that will surely inspire many of our young readers. I would say that this is a wonderful article and thanks for sharing it with all of us!

Philip Siegel's curator insight, March 5, 5:54 PM

The article talks about how to be successful coming from those who are extremely successful, such as Mark Zuckerberg. It says what type of attitude to have when addressing things. The attitude you should have is one of not being afraid to take chances and persevere when the going gets tough.

Kira Saini's curator insight, March 6, 6:25 AM

This article is discussing the skills that successful entrepreneurs have. Out of all the skills, striving to work harder and increase your intelligence to reduce making mistakes can be connected to them. This article basically says that learning is more important to being successful than proving you are smart.

Emerald Insight | Library Hi Tech News | Mobile 3D Library Map: an innovative wayfinding tool for library users on the move

Emerald Insight | Library Hi Tech News | Mobile 3D Library Map: an innovative wayfinding tool for library users on the move | Leadership, Innovation & Enterprise | Scoop.it

The widespread use of mobile devices within our students and staff community for their day to day operations has significantly driven the demand for more library services to go mobile.  This initiative has delivered a mobile solution for our next generation users to locate the library’s collections and facilities effectively through advanced visualisation and interactivity techniques. The guiding principle is to develop a lightweight solution and to keep the design intuitive so that users are able to access the service without any assistance.

Library@NYP's insight:

This initiative has received good feedback from our users, especially new generation students who prefer visual images rather than large amounts of text. Compared to static maps and directories, the ability to interact with the system appeals to all groups of users. The integration with the library catalogue to allow users to pinpoint the exact location of resources is also unique.
