I like how this article differentiates between the "halo effect" and true charisma which is an entirely differnet quality - good looks and charm do not a leader make!

It's not so much about how a leader appears on the outside (when guided by persona) but rather how a leader truly leads up from the inside out (when guided by character).

How many of you have experienced these sorts of destructive management tactics in your organization?  It is imperative for CEO's and top leadership to be on the lookout for dysfunctions in management teams.  Nip it in the bud!  Take control of building and maintaining an awesome management team. It only takes one drop of poison to spoil the entire well!!!!
