We have allowed the boundaries between the time we work and our personal time to blur. Also people do leave because of their bosses. Who do we think persists in blurring the lines between work and personal life. I left teaching because of my bossess and their lack of respect for my time.

A great deal of good thinking comes from those who suggest leadership is a process, not a role, position, or title. You can lead outside of formal positions. It might be a bit harder without the psychological and social cues that confer influence, but it is done all the time.
