Best Le Marche Properties for sale: Villa Spineola, Colli del Tronto

Best Le Marche Properties for sale: Villa Spineola, Colli del Tronto | Le Marche Properties and Accommodation | Scoop.it

We are in Piceno, at the border with the Monti Sibillini Reserve, 12 km away from Ascoli Piceno and 10 minutes by car from the Adriatic coast.
Villa Spineola is 1 km from a little village, uphill and with a fantastic sight on the countryside to the sea.
Even if its origins are lost in time, the first evidences of the fortress/house from which Villa Spineola derives date back to 1435, when Giovanni Guglielmo Giuderocchi succeeded the last heir of Family Tibaldeschi.

Theatre of events that are portrayed in History, like the conjuring against Pope Urbano VIII, the Villa became dwelling of some among the most powerful Families of the time, from that of Cardinal Centini, to the Piccolomini, going through ups and downs, splendour and abandonment, till the recent reconstruction.

“Hic secura quies, hic pax, hic gaudia vera” “Here’s quietness, peace and true joy”. This motto carved in stone, towers from centuries above the entrance and welcomes the visitor, summing up the true essence of Villa Spineola in just a flash.
A place imbued with spirituality, in which the soul relaxes, perceiving vibrations of an ancient history, traced either by the important characters that used to live here, an by the common people, the peasants who, by the end of the 19th century, used to climb up to the Villa for the “Fiera della Perdonanza”, a fair that used to take place in the courtyards and gardens of the Villa.

The buildings extend over a surface of more than 2200 gross sq. Meters, including the owner’s house, a private chapel, the renewed building of the old stables, the guests’ house, a porter's lodge, various other rooms and a garage.[...]

Buying a Property in Le Marche | Italian property market update

Buying a Property in Le Marche | Italian property market update | Le Marche Properties and Accommodation | Scoop.it

Exciting news for anyone due to complete the purchase of an Italian property in the near future or thinking of investing in the Italian property market this year
If you are buying a property in Italy in 2014, due to a restructure in Land Registry charges, house prices will decrease. Italy is one of the only countries in Europe that can boast lower rather than higher charges, the majority of countries are increasing their charges...
If you purchase from a private individual as a first or main home you will save €1,260 in every €100,000, again another 1% decrease.
So, if your Italian property is €300,000 you will save the sum of €3,780 on a first home and €2,700 on a second home.
In these times when just about every which way you turn you are paying more, this is an unexpected surprise. It is also the time when property prices are still at their lowest but are starting to show signs of rising in the more popular areas, so now is a perfect time to buy a property.
Luxury Italian real estate is showing signs of increasing, another very positive factor when you are considering buying your property in Italy is the absence of inheritance tax as long as you leave the property to a close relation.
Finally, if you do not sell the property for 5 years capital gains tax in Italy is not payable.

Could Fractional Ownership Help Revive The Italian Property Market?

Could Fractional Ownership Help Revive The Italian Property Market? | Le Marche Properties and Accommodation | Scoop.it

Fractional ownership is growing in popularity and is being heralded as one way to help revive the Italian property market. The Global Property Guide reported that more and more people are looking to move to the Mediterranean country, especially in retirement, but with the financial crisis meaning many are unable to raise the money for a deposit, entering the market can prove difficult.
Fractional ownership is one solution to this problem and is already popular in the US. Greece, Portugal and Spain are also beginning to embrace the policy, thanks to the financial crisis. Fractional ownership works by enabling people to purchase a deeded share in a residence, giving them access to a property for a set number of weeks per year and all amenities.
The scheme is praised for it simple, stress-free and potentially profitable approach to home ownership and with Italy's property market in need of regeneration, this could prove to be just the ticket to removing the finance barrier. This will be good news for countless retirees, who choose to flock to Italy year after year. According to AARP (formerly the American Association of Retired Persons), Italy is a must visit destination and one of the top places for people to retire abroad.
Le Marche is just one area proving popular among retirees and Dawn Cavanagh-Hobbs, founder of family-run company Appassionata, explained just why the region is so attractive. "Bordering five other Italian regions as well as the Adriatic Sea, Le Marche is said to showcase all of Italy within one region. Unspoilt countryside, fantastic seafood and glorious sunshine abound - who could resist falling in love with such a place?" she asked.
Mrs Cavanagh-Hobbs and her husband Michael have developed two unique homes for fractional ownership on the Estate Giacomo Leopardi in Le Marche. The estate features vineyards, olive groves, a truffle orchard and a lavender plantation. Those that partake in fractional ownership can enjoy the benefits of these, not to mention the joy of the plots extensive grounds.

Accommodation in Le Marche: Agriturismo

Accommodation in Le Marche: Agriturismo | Le Marche Properties and Accommodation | Scoop.it

Agriturismo - a combination of the words for "agriculture" and "tourism" in Italian - is a style of farmhouse vacation that is suitable for the whole family. In some agriturismos there is even the possibility to get involved in the day to day working of the land – a great experience for both adults and children.

An agriturismo is based upon produce from its own land; be it food, olive oil or wine - everything comes from the local area and this is what you will be eating and drinking. There is also the huge benefit of living with and getting to know the real Italians and the traditions which have dictated their lives for centuries.

However, this is not a basic holiday; many agriturismos are of the highest standards and have luxurious rooms, restaurants, swimming pools etc – you choose exactly what you want for the premium Italian experience.
