Best Le Marche Properties for sale: Villa Spineola, Colli del Tronto

Best Le Marche Properties for sale: Villa Spineola, Colli del Tronto | Le Marche Properties and Accommodation | Scoop.it

We are in Piceno, at the border with the Monti Sibillini Reserve, 12 km away from Ascoli Piceno and 10 minutes by car from the Adriatic coast.
Villa Spineola is 1 km from a little village, uphill and with a fantastic sight on the countryside to the sea.
Even if its origins are lost in time, the first evidences of the fortress/house from which Villa Spineola derives date back to 1435, when Giovanni Guglielmo Giuderocchi succeeded the last heir of Family Tibaldeschi.

Theatre of events that are portrayed in History, like the conjuring against Pope Urbano VIII, the Villa became dwelling of some among the most powerful Families of the time, from that of Cardinal Centini, to the Piccolomini, going through ups and downs, splendour and abandonment, till the recent reconstruction.

“Hic secura quies, hic pax, hic gaudia vera” “Here’s quietness, peace and true joy”. This motto carved in stone, towers from centuries above the entrance and welcomes the visitor, summing up the true essence of Villa Spineola in just a flash.
A place imbued with spirituality, in which the soul relaxes, perceiving vibrations of an ancient history, traced either by the important characters that used to live here, an by the common people, the peasants who, by the end of the 19th century, used to climb up to the Villa for the “Fiera della Perdonanza”, a fair that used to take place in the courtyards and gardens of the Villa.

The buildings extend over a surface of more than 2200 gross sq. Meters, including the owner’s house, a private chapel, the renewed building of the old stables, the guests’ house, a porter's lodge, various other rooms and a garage.[...]

Why do foreigners buy in italy | Le Marche Properties and Accommodation | Scoop.it

Here are the 4 main reasons why foreigners buy a luxury property in Italy.
The first reason is as always, because of Italy’s beauty, culture, history, cuisine, tradition and atmosphere that captivates everyone who visits Italy as a tourist.
The second reason why a purchase is made in Italy is linked to investment. In some areas of Italy, having a property is a status symbol; for managers, entrepreneurs, actors and artists from all over the world have purchased a property in Italy.
The third reason to buy a property in Italy is to diversify investments. An increasing number of properties are purchased for income purposes. A holiday home, depending on its size and location, can be rented with prices starting from €10,000 per week.
The fourth reason is access to credit. There are always many foreigners who buy a property using an Italian mortgage. [...]

House Insurance Italy

House Insurance Italy | Le Marche Properties and Accommodation | Scoop.it

Home owners insurance is not obligatory unless you have a mortgage in which case the lender will require you to have insurance for the property.
In terms of insuring a house and getting a mortgage bond it is often easier to do this in your home country, particularly if the property is to be used as a holiday home. In the UK there are a number of reputable insurance firms offering both house insurance and mortgages.
The advantages of insuring in this way are numerous but two of the most important are:

  1. House Insurance claims are often settled quicker through UK, Northern European and US insurance companies.
  2. It is a lot simpler to have insurance policies in your own language and the handling of claims is invariably easier.

It is important to note that you should use one insurance company for both household content insurance and building/house insurance in order to avoid conflicts between the insurance companies in the case of a claim.[...]
