Giorgio Fabiani Shoes, as other producers in Le Marche Region, got inspired by the fabulous 60es but in this case the only style icon chosen is Barbarella, the wild, naughty space traveler first appearing in a French comic book and later immortalized by Jane Fonda in the 1968 movie of the same name. The movie was not so popular at first being quite wacky and liberal, but over time it has become a classic, as has the outrageously futuristic style of the silly and spaced out heroine. A clear influence on the Spring Summer 2013 runways, metallics, color combinations, optical effects, chunky high heels, ties or buckles or showy accessories on the vamp.

The cathalog is inspired by certain movies with Catherine Zeta Jones.

for this S/S season, a lot of designers are getting their inspiration from the 1950s and 1960s. In Paris, they're bringing Gingham back (a much popular pattern back in the 50s-60s) and now other designers are getting inspired to include pieces of fashion from history.

Fashion icons of the of these two eras were the Bond Girls, Grace Kelly, Brigit Bardot, Audry Hepbourn, and Barbella. Designers are using these major style figures to incorporate their styles into their design. Giada Gabrielli has surely done that in their new s/s shoe collection.

The shows show some major 60s through their chunky high heels, ties and buckles, square toes, and the classic oxfords.

Fornarina: the evening look SS2013

Let's go on with the Fornarina Movie Campaign.
This time we move into the famous Kenaston House in Palm Springs, characterised by the minimal and 60es design.
Our models, Bambi & Marloes, walk with elegance as in the catwalk to show us two fantastic evening looks. 
Two very original and extremely classy dresses, sophisticated with the hawaiian floral prints like in the chiffon veil of Coline dress and in the georgette top of Gudule dress.
A touch of rock style in the shoes matching: for both looks we chose the model Kendra with sculpture heel. Metallic in the open toe booties and studded in the mary-jane pumps with lasered leather.

Questa volta siamo nella famosissima Kenaston House di Palm Springs dall'arredamento minimale e 60es.
Le nostre modelle, Bambi & Marloes, sfilano con eleganza mostrandoci due fantastici look da sera. Due abiti originali ed estremamente raffinati, sofisticati nelle stampe floreali stile hawaiian come il velo in chiffon dell'abito Coline stile peplo greco ed il top in georgette dell'abito Gudule.
Un tocco rock nell'abbinamento delle shoes: per entrambi i look abbiamo scelto il modello Kendra dal tacco romboidale. Metallizzato nello stivaletto open toe e borchiato nella mary-jane con inserti in pelle laserata.

Pamilla’s creations fly high, and they immediately cast you in “another" elected high dimension.  Softer tones, ethereal, impalpable, which mostly are not much different from light clothes that combine sometimes shades of powder, others some amber reflection. In the night-time version, the play of children is fascinated by the splendor of a magical shower of stars, leaving close the curtain / pleats on the shoulders of a long black satin ribbon.
