From Le Marche the curious heel of the JOHNNIE WALKER Oliver Sweeney Brogue

From Le Marche the curious heel of the JOHNNIE WALKER Oliver Sweeney Brogue | Le Marche & Fashion | Scoop.it

Starting with the brand’s top of the line Oxford wingtip brogue, the JOHNNIE WALKER Oliver Sweeney brogue, was reworked so that the last and crank of the shoe (that’s the shape of the base of the last, for the uninitiated) could fit a whiskey miniature in the heel without compromising the shoe’s sleek lines. Working with their factory in the Italian Marche, the heel was designed and re-engineered customized to this model so that it could be attached from the sides, rather than through the middle. [...]

5 Garments Every Guy Should Own - Tombolini Montreal | Le Marche & Fashion | Scoop.it

Most men are not aware of just how much personal image matters. I’ve seen guys get dozens of girls simply because they had some guts but they would always wear amazing clothes. And they weren’t the smartest men I’ve ever met.

Mariano Pallottini's insight:

Ok, so far we talked about 4 of the 5 fashion items that any man should have in his wardrobe: shirts, chinos, sports jackets and pocket squares.

Since the limit is 5, I won’t talk about ties, scarves, belts or down vests. These are all fantastic but right now I want to focus on shoes. And not just any shoes; the black leather brogues.

Santoni Boots because... summer has gone

Santoni Boots because... summer has gone | Le Marche & Fashion | Scoop.it

Summer has come to an end so it is time to open your closet and put on those nice Santoni winter shoes.

Almost all over the world, winters can be pretty cold and our feet need greater protection. Traditionally, this is provided by boots, especially by boots which extend 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) above the ankle. Boots can cover just the foot but some styles even cover the lower parts of the leg. Santoni has even made a medium high boot with a built in sock.

For making boots, same materials and techniques are used as when making normal shoes, the biggest difference is the sole. Most boots are made with a rubber sole to prevent slipping in the snow or on a wet surface.

For the winter of 2012/2013, Santoni made some magnificent boots for Santoni Classic line, Santoni Club and also Santoni Shabby Chic. With these boots, Santoni shows us how to bring creativity, craftsmanship & high quality together in just 1 shoe.

The results are phenomenal: Boots with multiple colours and even up to 4 different types of leather which make a unique shoe design. Also boots with a sheepskin bootleg or fur lining. Santoni did everything to make the best wintershoes and keep your feet warm and dry.

If you are looking for some nice Santoni boots, you can find them in the Santoni online boutique
