Luca Agnani, Macerata: Videomapping from Le Marche | Le Marche another Italy | Scoop.it

Videomapping it’s a video projection technique that transforms a surface in a display. Using suitable software you create animations of the surface which are then projected. The final effect is an illusion in 3D, in practice it is the projection of a video.
Luca Agnani is s Digital lighting, 3d & Visual Mapping Artist born in Macerata in 1976.
Luca works for advertising agencies, organization of events, associations, municipalities and individuals, creating artworks for celebration of a place of worship or a monument, at the opening of a shopping center, or the opening night of a nightclub.
He was selected to lead his performances at major italian festivals including the Lpm of Rome, the Kernel Festival in Milan, Dancity of Foligno, the Robot in Bologna, Acusmatiq of Ancona and Barrakuda Festival in Croatia.
Outstanding are his works on the front of the Arena Sferisterio during the week of culture, on the Duomo of Catania on the feast of St.Agatha, on the Mole Vanvitelliana of Ancona for the opening concert of Yann Tiersen and on the Sanctuary of San Michele on the occasion of receiving the UNESCO award.
His works are mainly characterized by the absence of elements and closely related to architecture and its history.

Truffles and Le Marche by Nancy Reed Krabill - Internationalliving.com

Truffles and Le Marche by Nancy Reed Krabill - Internationalliving.com | Le Marche another Italy | Scoop.it
Ask any Italian about Tuscany, Lombardy, or the Veneto and they can rattle off a list of the attractions of these well-known regions. But bring up Le Marche, scrunched between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea in Italy, and they may fall silent.

It’s a mystery why. Less than three hours’ drive from Rome, Le Marche features sandy beaches and great seafood on its Adriatic Coast, rolling hills topped with medieval fortified towns and villages to the west, along with snow-capped peaks in the south. You’ll find a musical heritage, too…composer Rossini was born here.

White truffles: A nose for buried treasure - Telegraph | Le Marche another Italy | Scoop.it

Our guide Massimo – farmer, cook, restaurateur and tartufaio or truffle hunter – strode on, surefooted and fiercely focused, directing the dogs in an eerie language of clicks and whistles.

Truffle Hunting: Find seasonal white truffles and black truffles in Le Marche

Truffle Hunting: Find seasonal white truffles and black truffles in Le Marche | Le Marche another Italy | Scoop.it

The white truffle season here in Le Marche lasts from early October to December and attracts a lot of attention as it is the only time when the prized white truffle (Tuber Magnatum Pico) is available.. Originally pigs were used to seek out the truffles but, as they have such a strong liking to them, truffle dogs are now trained and used for the same task to ensure the precious find remains uneaten on discovery.
The white truffle, or tartufo bianco, can be located in many areas in le Marche
