Videomapping it’s a video projection technique that transforms a surface in a display. Using suitable software you create animations of the surface which are then projected. The final effect is an illusion in 3D, in practice it is the projection of a video.
Luca Agnani is s Digital lighting, 3d & Visual Mapping Artist born in Macerata in 1976.
Luca works for advertising agencies, organization of events, associations, municipalities and individuals, creating artworks for celebration of a place of worship or a monument, at the opening of a shopping center, or the opening night of a nightclub.
He was selected to lead his performances at major italian festivals including the Lpm of Rome, the Kernel Festival in Milan, Dancity of Foligno, the Robot in Bologna, Acusmatiq of Ancona and Barrakuda Festival in Croatia.
 Outstanding are his works on the front of the Arena Sferisterio during the week of culture, on the Duomo of Catania on the feast of St.Agatha, on the Mole Vanvitelliana of Ancona for the opening concert of Yann Tiersen and on the Sanctuary of San Michele on the occasion of receiving the UNESCO award.
His works are mainly characterized by the absence of elements and closely related to architecture and its history.

Lina started making pasta at the age of ten, which is not terribly uncommon in Italy. She has won top awards at the pasta competition in the village for the past ten years. If a pasta lesson couldn’t be given by my actual grandmother, Lina was definitely qualified as a substitute teacher. [...]

Pergola in Le Marche is renowned for many important attractions but there is only one special event that permit you to enjoy the 3 most important ones: Food and Wine Production, the Gilded Bronzes, and the prized white truffle.
For different 3 Sundays in October, the days 5 - 12 - and 19, Pergola organizes the Fair of the Prized White Truffle and typical local products.
The Municipal Administration has created an edition, the 19th, to maintain the success of the last editions: a mile of exhibitors, products and wines from the little and beautiful town of Pergola alongside with those of the rest of the region and, above all, the diamond of the table: the prized white truffles.
During the fair will be open the museum that exhibits the only group of statues in the world in gilded bronze from the Roman era come to the present day: over a ton of gold and bronze.

Rocca d'Ajello: a magnificent wedding venue

Perched on a woody hill in the Marche region, Central Italy, the castle of Rocca d’Ajello was built between the XIIIth and XVIth century by the Varano family, lords of the duchy of Camerino. The castle is now privately owned and can be rented for weddings and events.
The large outdoor and indoor spaces provide ideal solutions even in case of bad weather. Cocktails and “aperitivi” are served in the two gardens, full of ancient roses and flowers; alfresco dinners and dancing take place in the large courtyard, while in rainy or cold weather the two spacious dining halls, Sala d’Armi e Scuderia Varano, can accomodate up to 230 people each. Dr. Bellini retired in December 2009 as President and CEO but remains Chairman of BELLUS Health Inc. A pioneer in the Canadian biopharmaceutical industry, he was co-founder of Biochem Pharma, as well as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1986 to 2001. Pizzo del Diavolo on the Sibillini Mountains

The legend tell that the in a cave of the Sibyl, located on the homonymous mountain, lived "the illustrious prophet who rarely reveal the secrets of which she was aware".
The park was established in 1993 to preserve and enhance the environment of a large area (about 70,000 ha.) Umbria-Marche Apennines, coinciding with the mountains of Sibillini Mountains. A chain of mountains of limestone origin, which has numerous peaks over 2,000 meters and the central massif which was formed by the Monte Vettore (2476 feet) from the top of the Redeemer (2422 m.), from Lake Peak (2422 m.) and by Pizzo del Diavolo (2410 m.).

Forgotten Marche, they are mostly buildings that were once very important for the people who lived around there, places of work where so many generations have given their services, highest places of the spirit and faith. And now that they are no longer functional to our interests remain there, isolated in the woods, as in suburban areas...

They are ancient abbeys, such as St. Mary of the Apennines in Fabriano, or S. Maria de ‘Rotis above Matelica, silent hermitages as Grottafucile or Soffiano, but also mills, furnaces, factories such as tanneries in Esanatoglia, isolated churches as S.Piero in Tambis near Fossombrone or entire villages forgotten how to Fontecornale of Mombaroccio where the ruined church of San Michele shows the ancient frescoes as stigmata of true faith. Why Grottazzolina worth a visit?

  • The collection of Sacred Art is inside, with Northern-European prints of great value dating back to XVI and XVII centuries.
  • The “silk mill” outside the village it is a true example of industrial archaeology linked with silkworm breeding, last century typical activity in most of the area.
  • The Castle of Azzolino, pride and testimony of the historical vitality of the town, rises at the centre of it. 
  • The Cozzana, the oldest district of the town, recently restored, embraces the eastern side of the Umberto I square. 
  • The former Benedetti Hospital, completely restored, host the social and cultural activities of the town. 
  • The Ermete Novelli Theatre, featuring Art Nouveau and more than 250 seating places, hosts every year an important theatre season with the most important national theatre companies. 
  • The Town Hall features a Renaissance style and a very interesting tower with battlements.
  • The Church of St Sacramento and St Rosario (1768) features a Classic facade and houses frescoes, paintings and sculptures. 
  • The Church of St Giovanni Battista (1684) was reconstructed on a pre-existent Romanesque church.

...We finally arrived to beautiful and sunny San Benedetto Del Tronto. Our uncle picked us up and took us to his home, which was a walking distance to the beach. Oh yes B-). The next few days were filled with mornings at the beach, cousins running around, pizza, gelato, exploring the town of Ascoli Piceno, gelato, beach, and did I already say pizza? ;).

Our stay at Casa Lola was the perfect blend of tranqullity and relaxation, with enough to keep everyone amused, to more than justify our decision to go abroad.

Located on the brow of a rolling hill with glorious views of the mountains and countryside in the region of Le Marche in central eastern Italy, Casa Lola is a 200-year-old farmhouse which sleeps up to 10 people.

There are many beautiful ancient hill-top towns and villages close by with wonderful cafes and restaurants to enjoy and to savour that delicious cup of coffee and cake - such as Monte San Martino, Amandola, Sarnarno, Gualdo and Monte Falcone.

If sightseeing is not your thing, you’ll be hard pushed to find a better-equipped villa than Casa Lola.

One of its best aspects is the private swimming pool, which we could not keep our daughter out of for the whole holiday.

There is a large kitchen and dining room, as well as an outside barbecue and huge garden.

Set in remote countryside, it is not surprising that many of the locals do not speak much English but that just adds to being in the ‘real’ Italy.[...]

Martone's film centres on Marche-born poet Giacomo Leopardi, known for his legendary pessimism and immortal odes, and Italy's most anthologised poet after the Divine Comedy bard, played here by Germano in the spirit of an anti-conformist rebel.

The ornate wood panels located on the lower walls of the study and designed by Benedetto da Maiano’s Florence workshop include images of the armor Duke Federico wore in battle. An adjacent panel shows him dressed in a casual tunic, the clothing he wore when entering his private study.

On the uppermost walls of the Studiolo are portraits of philosophers, mathematicians, poets and Popes who were inspirational people in the life of Lord Montefeltro and in European culture: people like Dante, Plato, Aristotle, Seneca, Saint Ambrose, and Saint Gregory the Great. 

Of the 28 original portraits in the Studiolo, only 14 of them remain [...]
