Luca Agnani, Macerata: Videomapping from Le Marche | Le Marche another Italy | Scoop.it

Videomapping it’s a video projection technique that transforms a surface in a display. Using suitable software you create animations of the surface which are then projected. The final effect is an illusion in 3D, in practice it is the projection of a video.
Luca Agnani is s Digital lighting, 3d & Visual Mapping Artist born in Macerata in 1976.
Luca works for advertising agencies, organization of events, associations, municipalities and individuals, creating artworks for celebration of a place of worship or a monument, at the opening of a shopping center, or the opening night of a nightclub.
He was selected to lead his performances at major italian festivals including the Lpm of Rome, the Kernel Festival in Milan, Dancity of Foligno, the Robot in Bologna, Acusmatiq of Ancona and Barrakuda Festival in Croatia.
Outstanding are his works on the front of the Arena Sferisterio during the week of culture, on the Duomo of Catania on the feast of St.Agatha, on the Mole Vanvitelliana of Ancona for the opening concert of Yann Tiersen and on the Sanctuary of San Michele on the occasion of receiving the UNESCO award.
His works are mainly characterized by the absence of elements and closely related to architecture and its history.

Travel Le Marche ... Getting to see the real Italy | Le Marche another Italy | Scoop.it

Our stay at Casa Lola was the perfect blend of tranqullity and relaxation, with enough to keep everyone amused, to more than justify our decision to go abroad.

Located on the brow of a rolling hill with glorious views of the mountains and countryside in the region of Le Marche in central eastern Italy, Casa Lola is a 200-year-old farmhouse which sleeps up to 10 people.

There are many beautiful ancient hill-top towns and villages close by with wonderful cafes and restaurants to enjoy and to savour that delicious cup of coffee and cake - such as Monte San Martino, Amandola, Sarnarno, Gualdo and Monte Falcone.

If sightseeing is not your thing, you’ll be hard pushed to find a better-equipped villa than Casa Lola.

One of its best aspects is the private swimming pool, which we could not keep our daughter out of for the whole holiday.

There is a large kitchen and dining room, as well as an outside barbecue and huge garden.

Set in remote countryside, it is not surprising that many of the locals do not speak much English but that just adds to being in the ‘real’ Italy.[...]

Castel di Luco, Le Marche, among the 10 spectacular castles that you can actually stay in

Castel di Luco, Le Marche, among the 10 spectacular castles that you can actually stay in | Le Marche another Italy | Scoop.it

What makes Castel di Luco so extraordinary is the fact that castle has barely been altered since the time of its construction in the 1400s. The remarkably well preserved building is also extremely special as it is still owned and managed by the descendants of the original family, which means a lot of pride and love go into maintaining this incredible piece of architecture.

Castel di Luco is nestled in the beautiful Province of Ascoli Piceno in the Italian region of Marche, and the guest suites in the hamlet just below the main castle are all still the original structures which date back to the middle ages. Do not be put off by not staying in the castle itself, as the stunning wood-beamed ceilings and antique beds in the guesthouses provide a thoroughly medieval experience in a wonderfully unique setting.
