The museum in the striking halls of the San Tommaso complex, is comprised of the extensive municipal collections and handmade items granted for storage by the Cassa di Risparmio di Ascoli Piceno Foundation and by the Matricardi family. The museum’s five sections explore ceramics production in Ascoli Piceno between the 15th and 20th century, enabling visitors to admire fine objects from workshops in Deruta, Faenza, Montelupo, Savona and Genoa.
