Moreno at Baglioni, the first UK Restaurant of Chef Moreno Cedroni will open on October 22nd, 2012 on the ground floor of the Baglioni Hotel London, facing Hyde Park.

From October 5th to Oct 21st enjoy a first taste of Moreno. Try bits of the new concept of his creative but accessible cooking in a cozy ambience and relaxed atmosphere. There is a two-course set lunch menu and coffee at about $25, and a three-course lunch or dinner from the à la carte menu at about $40.

Bringing an avant-garde spirit to the Italian cuisine, Cedroni’s style incorporates contemporary techniques combining traditional and modern Italian food with a strong emphasis on way fish.

Chef Cedroni will install Antonio Bufi as Head Chef. He will work alongside the existing brigade and the hotel’s Executive Chef, Andrea Vercelli.

Menu highlights by Chef Moreno Cedroni will include way fish, pasta, and traditional and creative dishes, including tempura of scallops in black squid ink, clams and courgettes, warm seabass carpaccio with lemon mashed potatoes and rocket sauce, and parmesan cheese tortellini with meat, tomato sauce and balsamic vinegar jam.

Cedroni’s career began age 20 when he opened his first restaurant, La Madonnina del Pescatore near Ancona in 1984. In 1995, the restaurant gained its first Michelin star with the second following in 2006. In 2000, he opened the Clandestino Susci Bar in Portovono and in 2003 the street food and fish delicatessen Anikò in the centre of Senigallia. In 2010, he started his first consultancy with Moschino, opening Clandestino Milano. He has also written a number of cookery books, including Sushi & Susci and Multipli di venti.

The luxury five-star Baglioni Hotel is situated in the heart of London, opposite Hyde Park with enchanting views of Kensington Gardens and Palace. With 67 elegant rooms, 49 of which are suites, the Baglioni Hotel offers fabulous Italian hospitality and luxury services.
