Le Marche Region in Italy presented to Chinese People

Le Marche Region in Italy presented to Chinese People | Le It e Amo ✪ | Scoop.it

The Marche is one of the 20 Regions of Italy. The Italian name Le Marche is the plural of marca, and literally means "the Marches", originally referring to the medieval March of Ancona and nearby marches of Camerino and Fermo.
The Marche are located in the Central area of the country, bordering Emilia-Romagna and the republic of San Marino to the north, Tuscany to the north-west, Umbria to the west, Abruzzo and Lazio to the south and the Adriatic Sea to the east. Except for river valleys and the often very narrow coastal strip, the land is hilly. In the nineteenth century, a railway from Bologna to Brindisi linked the Marche along the coastline of the entire territory. Inland, the mountainous nature of the region, even today, allows little travel north and south, except by rough roads over the passes.

Barley Le Marche: Typical Regional Product

Barley Le Marche: Typical Regional Product | Le It e Amo ✪ | Scoop.it

From barley is possible to obtain a light, digestible, energizing drink used to be called “Caffé d’orzo” in Le Marche that is barley coffee, and in fact it is an excellent alternative to coffee, a typical product of Le Marche, classed as a “Typical Regional Product” by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Hulless barley has a high content of beta-glucans that play an important role in lowering cholesterol and glucose levels.
The T re Mori Company has been synonymous with quality and reliability for over sixty years. The use of scrupulously selected raw materials, their production carried out with craftsmanlike care and constant commitment to quality are the strong points of this expanding firm.
Tre Mori is one of the few companies which directly follow each stage of barley production: the barley used by Tre Mori only comes front the crops of the hilly areas of Le Marche, the origin-certified seeds are not genetically modified and the cultivation is carried out without using chemical substances: the roasting is made slowly and at low temperature; all that resulting in a certified top quality product.
