From barley is possible to obtain a light, digestible, energizing drink used to be called “Caffé d’orzo” in Le Marche that is barley coffee, and in fact it is an excellent alternative to coffee, a typical product of Le Marche, classed as a “Typical Regional Product” by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
