Choosing References

Choosing References | Law Firm Marketing Online | Scoop.it
Choosing ReferencesChoosing the right references is important. The selection of a refernece is key because it is a first step in showing a prospective employer your decision making skills. As any good lawyer will tell you "never ask a question of a witness in court that you do not know the answer to before hand." This is the same process that you should go thru when selecting a reference. Never choose a reference that is not going to say positive things about you. Common courtesy today

When I read high level SEO articles likes this one from AJ Kohn I think what non SEO's (Docs, Dentists, Lawyers and Plumbers) must be going through when they contemplate creating and curate content that will resonate with their target audience?

Suffice to say, this level of detailed Social SEO is way above the pay grade of 99% of the online marketing world?

Big Brands with infrastructure, resources and budgets might be able to connect the dots on this level of online marketing tactics, but I suspect most can't due to limitations of time, money and resources.

This is why solutions like Scoop.it are so valuable to small business owners who don't (or can't) afford to read, understand and deploy such technical marketing tactics and why solutions that any SMB can deploy in hours vs. weeks & use DIY content marketing systems so they can better manage their social media presence.

Yelp Reviews are somewhat in question for being Authentic versus being manufactured by the business owner.

Bing reviews are better, but they don't have the search volume.

A 5 Star Google+ Local Listing review goes a long way towards building a positive reputation management.

Websites need defined tiered navigation, splash pages, helpful categorization and internal search or they loose engagement.

The more content you create the harder it gets for visitors to find. When visitors can’t find what they want they leave.

Social Sharing Tools That Integrate FB, Twitter, LinkedIN and Google+

Social Sharing Tools That Integrate FB, Twitter, LinkedIN and Google+ | Law Firm Marketing Online | Scoop.it

Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn can be found in the majority of social media management apps. It is with Google+ that things get a little bit more complicated: very few social media tools support it due to some technical challenges.

However, most social media managers would prefer a solution that would allow them posting to all social networks in one place, Google+ including.

In this post, you’ll find reference to all tools that are to date integrated with Google+.

We’ll bring small business editions to a special focus and review social tools that (1) support Google+ and (2) the ones you can use for free or under $10 a month.
