She is "hell bent on taking what she thinks is rightfully hers."

 

 

This is surprising because she is worth more than Kutcher, and she just received $15 million from Bruce Willis in connection with their divorce.

Adoption is a key pillar in what is known as Family Laws. You can not just simply adopt a child without paperwork. Adoption is a legal process where a person(s) becomes the legal parent of a child. Kids that are unwanted at birth or kids that are removed from a broken household are put up for adoption. 

Note* In most provences, same sex couples are also permitted to adopt.

The operators of the city-owned Old Avalon Golf Course have filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Warren.

The owners of the course invested over $784,000 in captial improvements, and so they have not earned a profit the last few years. The golf course operators were supposed to pay $55,000 to the city for course expenses if they made a profit; however, the contract did not say anything about payment if a profit was not made.

 

Since they are using their profit to constantly make improvements on the course, the city has seen no payments.

Bill gives break to some young sex offenders

The Oregon Legislature has narrowly approved a bill that would allow some young offenders convicted of having sex with underage partners to request the crime be removed from their records.

The bill states that some teens convicted of sex crimes that did not involve coercion or force can request that the crime be removed from their record. Of course, the offenders would still have to go through the proper court-ordered programs and treatments.

The 14-year-old boy has already had more than 50 run-ins with the police, while the 13-year-old girl has had over 100.

 

The issue here is that "young offenders often don't get the help they need."

Police arrest them and charges are laid but when they are released on conditions it means nothing to the young offenders, the issue has not been resolved.

Nearly 10 years ago, in Lawrence County, Ala., a 14-year-old boy holding a baseball bat stood over a man he had robbed and repeatedly beaten, telling him, "I am God, I've come to take your life."

In the news story above, it talks about the penelty for murderers that are under the age of 18. In cases where the accused is close to 18, or when the child has the maturity of an adult, they may be charged as an adult. That means sentences will be the same as any person over 18. If judged as a child, most commen in crimes like theft, the punishment will be less then what an adult will get.

Defence pleads self-defence on a murder trial, as domestic violence leads to the death of a husband by stabbing. Witnesses say the defender said "I am going to kill him" shortly before the stabbing occurred. She says she was very drunk and doesn't remember much, and that she suffered from domestic violence and had "lost faith in the law." So she seemingly took the law into her own hands, ending the life of her late husband.

BRIDGEWATER — Individuals are subject to the same limits as police officers when it comes to protecting themselves from a crime, says an RCMP officer.

A younger man broke into a house, was subdued by the owner with the use of force. The owner then called the police. There was supposedly a "scuffle" and the younger perpetrator was beaten, suffering serious injuries that caused him to go to the hospital. The owner is being charged with assault and assault with a weapon.

 

How far does self-defence go? A person is allowed to use "as much force as is necessary to neutralize the threat."

Included in the contract is a safety warning that states that visiting his mansion could result in "minor injuries to catastrophic injuries, including death."

 

Bieber is partying hard and covering his tracks well.

In Nigeria, the music industry seems to be corrupt. Broadcasting stations are failing to pay royalties to artists. This is a breach of contract law. Also, some artists post their music online for free access, which record labels are unhappy with because the music was not recorded for free, and so it should not be distributed for free.

There is an issue in England that "Young Offenders Institutions (YOIs) in England are not providing the most basic education requirements."

Only one in nine of the state-run institutions are delivering the minimum education requirements.

 

Considering that education is the best way of reducing re-offending, this is a very large issue.

Today, one of the most commen forms of youth crime is bullying. When youth bully someone into something like suicide, it is not taken as seriously as when an adult pushes someone to kill themselves. But, the government is starting to crack down on cyberbullying and bulling in the school yard and putting more serious punishments with them.

He now intends to sue New York City and two detectives for $150 million in damages. He is suing for alleged malicious prosecution.
