Life before the internet? Today's teens and young adults only know about the digitally connected world. But how is their hyperconnecting affecting them? To find out, Pew Internet & American Life Project did some research then published its findings in the Teens and Technology 2013 report. That information was used to create the following infographic by InternetProvider. Among the research findings... 80% of teens own a computer.78% of teens own a cellphone.37% of teens own a smartphone. So, how is hyperconnectivity affecting the younger generation? The technology experts and shareholders surveyed were divided evenly in their opinion regarding whether being hyperconnectivity was a positive or a negative. The positives for being hyperconnected include... Being adept at finding answers to deep questions efficiently.Becoming quick-acting multitaskers.Learning more information quickly. The negatives for being hyperconnected include... Developing a need for instant gratification.Lacking deep-thinking capabilities.Lacking face-to-face social skills. To find out more about the research findings, check out the following infographic.

The “conversational search” that Google demonstrated at last week’s Google I/O conference is now available to users of its Chrome browser, and it’s a significant leap in how we use search engines. Via Level343, ABroaderView

For Google’s competitors, it’s another challenge in keeping up. Google Now is already doing amazing things anticipating searches. Now Google’s conversational search is allowing searchers to get casual with the service, plus it sets things up to entice searchers to share more of their own information directly using Google’s other services, so they can speak things like “what’s happening today” and very personal answers. This is an evergreen interesting topic. I was especially intrigued with the title up above that said "Social Media Job of The Future". There might be a lot of prescience (sp?) in that choice of words.

An Optimized Content Strategy is the art of deliberately producing content, based on keyword phrases that are driving organic search traffic and conversions, that demonstrates an understanding of your target customer’s knowledge acquisition at various stages in their buying cycle.
Then delivering that “optimized” content to them in a relevant and compelling way to grow your business by socializing the content through your organization’s social networks. In this context, content can consist of: website content, blogs, press releases, case studies, white papers, how-to guides, emails, news and events, videos – whatever it is your prospects and customers want to consume, in the format they will best be able to consume it, and on the various platforms on the web they may be receptive to consuming the content.
