On la surnomme La Pomme, les bâtisseurs de cette ville ont délibérément créé un poumon vert de 300 ha (Central Park) entre les tours, dernièrement elle a transformé sa High Line en promenade verte de 2,3 km à travers Manhattan et voilà qu'on y produit désormais des salades Gotham Greens sur ses toits en utilisant de l'énergie renouvelable !
Décidément, New York montre que Paris est une capitale bien en retard sur le développement durable.

Nicknamed Big Apple, the builders of this city have deliberately created a green lung of 300 ha (Central Park) between the towers, lately it has turned in his High Line Green 2.3 km walk through Manhattan and there now produces Gotham Greens vegetables and culinary herbs on rooftops using renewable energy!
Certainly, New York City shows that Paris (France) is a city well behind sustainable development.

This is going beyond Mazdar in Dubai.  The reality is that we need to transform existing cities since starting from scratch is rare.  We need to retrofit cities more than build new ones, but still it is interesting.
