She has a lot of career left, but at this point, this has to be Gail Simone’s masterpiece, right? None of the characters in the book are anti-heroes like Frank Castle. They’re not “above” such petty distinctions of good-and-evil like Victor von Doom in Marvel’s Doom 2099. The characters in Secret Six are pretty vile human beings, all in all. So how did Gail Simone make this book so good?
