Il y a quelques jour je vous parler du temps de flors de Gérone. Mais cette ville est également superbe à visiter le reste de l’année. Gérone ce sont 6 musées et de nombreuses attractions touristiques uniques en Europe comme la muraille carolingienne, le Call Jueu (quartier juif) qui est l’un des mieux conservés d’Europe, la grande nef gothique de la cathédrale... Gérone possède également une activité culturelle assez importante. Pour les accrocs au shopping, vous pourrez y trouver des magasins ou simplement vous promener entre les stands des marchés se tenant le mardi et le samedi où parmi ceux des journées « boutique à la rue ».

Im letzten Jahr litt Spanien, bedingt durch die Wirtschaftskrise, unter einem Beschäftigungsrückgang von 23 %. Unter Anderem erhofft sie sich durch das Projekt EuroVegas, eine Casinokette nach US-amerikanischem Vorbild, die Arbeitslosenquote senken zu können. Die Pläne für EuroVegas Die Schlüsselperson hinter dem Vorhaben Eurovegas heißt Sheldon Adelson. Adelson ist ein milliardenschwerer amerikanischer Investor, der plant 22 Milliarden Dollar in das Projekt zu investieren. Es sollen sechs Casinos, 3 Golfplätze, 12 Hotels und 36000 Zimmer, Einkaufsmalls, Restaurants und Bars gebaut werden. Jedoch steht noch nicht fest, ob das Projekt in Barcelona oder Madrid umgesetzt wird. Beide Städte buhlen um die Investition des US-Investors, da man sich rund 260.000 neue Arbeitsplätze von dem Projekt erhofft. Besonders jungen Arbeitslosen soll durch das Projekt geholfen werden, da ganze 50 % der Arbeitslosen in Spanien unter 25 Jahren alt sind.

It is undeniable that I am a fan of Barcelona. However, I have lived in my apartment in Barcelona for 4 years now, and I must admit it is always nice to get away for a week end to somewhere really nice. Last week end I decided to gather my things, and head for Sitges. Despite the uncommonly rainy day (of course it rains on the day I decided to go to the beach), I had quite a bit of fun, I must admit. |
