The most valued program analyst in today's companies is one who has a systems view of the business and an understanding of technology tools and projects enough to keep pace with changing information needs of customers and suppliers in the value-chain. As most can see and agree, these needs are constantly changing. For me, Knowledge Management is a process that continuously recognizes these changes and adapts practices to fit them. It is therefore a basic requirement of analyst jobs in most organizations.
